Gerry’s out at the house with us for the weekend. We had to take the car to Clinton where the dealership is for service. We were going to eat at a popular restaurant there but couldn’t find a parking spot so we drove on to Mr. Chill’s Cafe, where we’ve eaten a few times.
The last time we were there it was run by a young Asian couple. This time it was an old Asian couple. Turns out the young man is their son and he’s off at the Culinary Institute in Poughkeepsie.
Breakfast was fine, though the sausages were those frozen things and I wish I’d had the bacon or corn beef hash instead. They’ve redecorated since we were there. It’s a very small place, but comfortable and familiar.
